By now, your child has been informed of which Triboro team he/she will be playing on, once the 2009-10 season starts in the upcoming fall. One more administrative step needs to be completed by you, in order to get your player on the ice for the games and practices.
USA Hockey, as a governing body, mandates that all hockey players be registered with USA Hockey each year. This is done for insurance purposes, as well as for ensuring the proper rostering of USA Hockey-sanctioned players for league events (i.e. games and practices) and tournaments. Once a player is registered, USA Hockey issues an official USA Hockey registration number to the registrant. This number is used for the rostering of your player.
Every player for Triboro Youth Hockey needs a registration number. This number is needed for each player to be allowed on the ice next year. There are NO exceptions.
There is a very simple process for you to get a registration number. Once obtained, it needs to be sent (via email) to the Triboro Registrar for proper recording. The registration process involves going to the USA Hockey registration site (www.usahockeyregistration.com ), follow the registration process, obtain the number, and send it to me (the Registrar) at

There is a fee associated with getting a registration number. For most of the members this will consist of a $30 fee for USA Hockey and a $5 fee for MASS Hockey.
The end result of your efforts will be to have all players properly sanctioned and rostered through USA Hockey, so that the players (and teams) will be set up for the upcoming hockey season.
Your cooperation in getting this done as soon as possible is greatly appreciated. I will send out reminders every few weeks so that all members get these numbers to me before the start of the season. It will be upon us before you know it....
