*There are two items you need to complete in order for your child to participate. One is to register into the Triboro program; the other is to register with USA Hockey.*
To register your child for these sessions, follow these two very important steps shown below:
Step 1:
You can register your child for the LEARN TO SKATE program by going to Learn to Skate Registration
LTS Registration
AND/OR
You can register your child for the LEARN TO PLAY (Hockey Development) program by going to Hockey Development Registration
HD Registration
Step 2:
USA Hockey, as a governing body of the Triboro Youth Hockey Association, mandates that all skaters be registered with USA Hockey each year. This is primarily done for insurance purposes, as well as for ensuring that the proper coaches and instructors are USA Hockey-sanctioned. Once a skater is registered, USA Hockey issues an official USA Hockey registration number to the registrant. This number is used for your skater.
Every skater participating in any Triboro Youth Hockey program needs a registration number. This number is needed for each skater to be allowed on the ice. There are NO exceptions.
There is a very simple process for you to get a registration number. Once obtained, it needs to be sent (via email) to the Triboro Registrar for proper recording. The registration process involves going to the USA Hockey registration site (www.usahockeyregistration.com ), follow the registration process, obtain the number, and send it to the Registrar at
. (There is a documented process of obtaining the registration number and the steps to get it to the Registrar. It is an Adobe Acrobat PDF file and the link to get to the file is here: http://files.leagueathletics.com/Images/Club/1479/Registering+USA+Hockey.pdf . Use the documentation to guide you through the process.)
(Please note: the document can be downloaded and displayed and/or printed in Adobe's Acrobat format. If you do not already have Adobe's free Acrobat Reader software, click on this link, http://get.adobe.com/reader/ to download it now.)
Please keep in mind you only need to get the USAH registration number ONCE. You can use this number for future LTS/LTP sessions throughout the season.
