2020-21 Jersey Order Info and Introduction of Jordan Smotherman
On behalf of the board and all of the coaches we hope everyone is doing well and taking advantage of the great weather.
It’s been a strange few months, but I think things are turning in the right direction as restrictions appear to be lifting slowly but surely.

We have some action items for all Triboro players heading into next season and they are as follows;

1. We need all players to order hockey jerseys for next season along with socks by going to the following website. All shirts and socks must be ordered by June 14th.
Mites and Squirts will have a reversible jersey while Peewees will have a traditional jersey.  Bantams will use same jersey as last year.

PeeWees

Mites and Squirts

Socks

The shirts and socks will be billed as part of the annual tuition, however you will need to pay a flat $9.00 for shipping.
Please check all spelling as the last name on the jersey will be based on the spelling you provide on website registration form.

UPDATE:

We have had a few folks order shirts and socks separately incurring shipping charges on both items. Use this home page link to have items accumulate into one shipping order.

2.  We also encourage members to take the opportunity to order sweatshirts, hats, slides etc from US Sports and Apparell.

3. We are fortunate enough to have a former NHL player Jordan Lavalle Smotherman put together a number of offseason workout videos for Triboro.  We will have additional emails encouraging Triboro players to post their workouts with prizes.

We have all endured a difficult few months and needless to say we are all excited to get back to hockey.   As soon as we have the go ahead from Mass Hockey and the state of Massachusetts we will send a message to all members with dates for tryouts.

Thank you
Triboro Board of Directors.

Triboro Hockey Update 4/21 - A Message from the President

Dear Triboro Nation,

On behalf of the board, I hope everyone is safe and well during this crazy time.   It has been a very difficult month for everyone, regardless of age.  Many families have been affected directly by the virus as well financially by layoffs and furloughs.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and hope that our everyday lives can get back to normal in the very near future.

As an organization we are trying to figure this all out as well, as none of us have been through anything like this before.  Having said that, we are planning on hockey returning once again at the end of the summer and we can get on with the 2020-2021 hockey season.

As part of planning for next season, we need to sign contracts with the various rinks committing to a certain amount of ice time for all of next year.  The amount of ice we commit too all depends on how many skaters we believe we will have next season.  Although evaluations for all levels were cancelled in March, your timely registration now is extremely important.

We are asking everyone that plans on playing for Triboro next season to register your player(s) on the Triboro website with our commitment to return any funds to families if the season were to be canceled.  We certainly don’t believe the season will be canceled, however we want to provide assurance to all our members of a refund in a worst-case scenario.

On another note, our annual meeting will be held virtually on May 21st at 7:00PM.  We will hold board elections and encourage all members to attend and vote.  We are looking to reduce the number of board seats to six next year, with many other positions reporting to a board member.  We believe this will allow us to be “nimble” and make decisions quickly and efficiently.

As a non-profit, we are an all-volunteer organization dependent on our members to give their time, energy and enthusiasm to the sport of hockey. We have many positions that need to be filled every year from coaches, team managers, committee members, banquet volunteers, etc.

We all look forward to next season and seeing all of you at the rink.

Regards,

Tom McDermott
