How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Our teams (Mites-Bantams) will play approximately 25-35 games over the course of the season. Most teams will practice on at least one weekday evening as well as at least once on the weekends, unless they are scheduled for two games. Most games will fall on Saturdays and/or Sundays, though teams may play an occasional game on a weekday around the holidays.

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Team jerseys and socks are required and may be purchased through US Sports and Apparel.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

USA Hockey Registration: All players are required to be registered with USA Hockey. This is an annual registration fee that can range between $17 and $79 depending on the age of the player. 

Uniforms: Players between the ages of Mites-Midgets are required to purchase a game jersey and socks. Typically, the cost to purchase both is around $100.

Equipment: Making sure your athlete has the appropriate equipment is the responsibility of parents/guardians and can be a cost that varies depending on size and type of gear needed. 

Tournaments: Teams between the ages of Mites-Midgets often chose to participate in non-league tournaments in addition their league play. Participation in tournaments is typically voluntary but can include additional fees as well as the requirement to pay for travel/food/lodging depending on the location of the tournament. Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
